Frankly, I become the first writer on this new version of the revamped MetalSite.net; do not feel ashamed but you should know that i'm panamanian, here in this country there is no good bands like US or Brazil but we have some bands that can start an international mass riot, such Selah, Noctrifer, Antagonized, Hatross, Sargon and others.
Antagonized and Sargon share duties with same drummer the fame Alex Marquéz MALEVOLENT CREATION/DEMOLITION HAMMER, yes the same cuban pete slaying the drums with the panamanian boys himself.
There is other bands of course, I just mentioned the worthy clan. Of mine faves is Noctrifer BLACKENED DEATH METAL and Equinox BLACK METAL. All those bands aforementioned have their Myspace profile, so check them out anytime.
First writer and First Visitor Metal Sites stills alive and well... The eagle has Landed again...!!
Hey Hateweaver! Welcome to the site and congrats to the first post. I can't say I am that familiar with the Panamanian bands, but I will surely check them out. You can always add them if you feel to promote them.

The site has evolved although much slower than expected... and the plan is to keeping it going! This site has never really been promoted, not more than a link here and there, so any promotion would be more than welcome.
Concerning the banners the old ones had a different logo, and doesn't work any more. The one you linked still works though, and the one below as well. Will put together some new ones and set up a page for that in a not so distant future.

Headbanger's Panama, it is moving fast-forward to a new pagerank level hopefully pagerank 3, at least we are working hard on it.
we fix some SEO and CSS bugging now it's all working in the right track.
Promote and spreading the word, sometimes is hard labour of metal love, lol... I will check later in near the future when you have any new banner
for such purposes, no worries.
I'll have to check into these bands! I always love great bands from other countries (:
