Violent Divine

Biography

History begins in the early 80's where the all the popular bands bands where arena-bands and most of them came out of the L.A. In a sleepy little town in Sweden, 4 guys grew up listening to the metal and hard rock that MTV and the independent recordstores offered them. Bands like Motley Crue, Ratt, Poison, Van Halen, Aerosmith to name a few, where highway of inspiration.

The world starts turning in late august of 2005 when Gus phones Q to ask him if he wants to try out some songs he just penned for a studio recording. This sounded like a great idea and Q suggested they'd call Mike to do the vocal parts. Just as Mike was walking on a beach by himself in the middle of nowhere, he recieved that call from Gus and considered it an excellent idea.

At the first rehearsal they quickly found that they needed a bassist to complete the band. Gus picked up the phone and called long time friend Klaus to hear if he was willing, free and able. Since Klaus was born ready, he grabbed the opportunity to team up with those DIVINE gentlemen. Four months later the band find themselves recording their debut album for american label Chavis Records

Colored by their musical background and sources of inspiration, VIOLENT DIVINE is a summary of all those years playing music, performing on stage, playin the same records that they did when it all began... and the love they share for this kind of hard but melodic rock.
