Biography

Tusken Raiders it's a stoner heavy band from Mexico City born in early 2002 and formed by guitarrist Edson Alemán (former hardcore bands Atoxxxico, Natas, 34-D and Invectiva, among others); Vocalist Sigi Rodriguez (former thrash metal band Alphard), drummer Julio López (former pop band Dead Faithfuls) and bassist Óscar Montes (former hc Natas and stoner's Sweet Leaf and Sabbra Caddabra).

We like all kind of music, from blues to grind (including punk, disco, metal, cumbia and cha cha cha) but we have a taste in common: Rock and roll. We like bands such as Black Sabbath, Kiss, acdc, Motorhead, Corrosion of Conformity, Kyuss and Fu Manchu, for example.

Our lyrics speaks on many subjects, we privileged the act of freedom, reason why we did not consider a band labeled in something, as far as topics talk about.

We like to play and have fun, and we rejected the dogmas; rock and roll is a road to be free and we'll take it.

Now we have a first demo CD named Free by Fire and we want to shared with you.
