Hailing from Melbourne, Temujin bring a uniquely Australian perspective to the Gothic Metal genre. Combining haunting vocals and driving guitars, the Temujin sound is layered and atmospheric.
The debut album "1000 Tears" was initially released as a self-published mail order album in 2007. Solid sales and worldwide media approval resulted in the signing of a distribution deal with US Indie label Renaissance Records in early 2008. The album was released to retail stores in Canada, the US and Mexico on May 13, 2008.
With writing and recording of the second album almost complete, a distribution deal with blueFreya Records was reached in mid 2010. Release of the new album is expected in early 2011.
