SuidAkrA can look back in their 11-year-old history and see 7 published albums, more than 150 gigs and various touring activities. The band has had a steadily growing following for many years in the German Metal scene. After the worldwide release of the last albums „Emprise To Avalon” and „Signs For The Fallen” by Century Media Records, they gained many new fans in Europe and drew more attention in America, South America, Japan and Australia.
With their seventh studio album „Command To Charge“ the quartet moved into a more modern direction to enrich their musical spectrum with just another facet. Promoting this album in many parts of the European continent in 2005 (eg. Wacken, Summerbreeze / Germany, Spain, France, Austria, Slovenia, Czech Rep., UK, Belgium etc.), 2006 is to be the year for even higher aims with shows in St. Petersburg and Moscow only marking the beginning…
In addition the band works on their eighth studio album „Caledonia“. Folk melodies in symbiosis with powerful melodic Death Metal wrapped in a lyrical concept about the natives of Scotland will again lead to another appreciated milestone á la SuidAkrA.
