Biography

Long time friends Paul Mallory and George Woodin had a vision for years to create a death metal band that was brutal and technical yet uphold a melodic edge. In December of 2003 the two created Soul Shroud. Combining their influences from various styles of metal and adding their own twist to give the project its own blend of originality they began the process by writing and forming what was to be the heart and soul of the band's sound. Meanwhile as time passed by they searched for other members in hopes of landing the right people to complete their vision.

In the months coming Frank Vaturina (Drums), Ben Cossa (Vocals), and Mike Griskauskas (Bass), were addeed to the ranks. All 3 brought something different to the table rounding off the band's overall sound and vibe. Now all 5 have a vision. That vision is to bring Soul Shroud's music to the masses in sharing their brand of heavy music and chaos!
