Biography

Slippnått (is a swedish frase written more exactly: "slipp något" and basicly means "be let of something" or "not having to do something") was really formed in 1989 by a bunch of farmers who wanted to escape the boredom of working on a farm. Since they were farmers they all of course wore overalls and they also wore masks so that their parents couldn´t recognize them when doing live shows (back in -89 the brutal metal they played was not respectable to play for farmers like themselves).

For some reason the band broke up with itself and the members went seperate ways just a couple of months after the first gig. Now Slippnått is alive again and hungry to tear down the nearest stage available and this is due to mainly one reason: Another band stole their whole concept and got rich! They call themselves Slipknot and use the same clothes and facial masks (allthough they´ve made a couple of changes) and they even stole some of the songs.

Some people say that Slippnått is just a cover band that play Slipknot-songs really good. Other say that Slipknot is just a cover band that play Slippnått-songs really good.
