Biography

The tireless and tour-hungry death metal loyalists of Spokane, WA. Skies Burn Black, their unique sound and technical style is the foundation for their success in the Inland Northwest. With the melding of Technical Grind, Death Metal, Hardcore thus creating a new generation of deathcore to their local music community, they bridged the gap between young and old, making one hell of a show no matter the city or stage they leave in ruin.

Skies Burn Black strives for musical depth and a unique sound to set them apart from their peers. Forming in mid 2007, they were instantly recognized to the music community for the combination of individual attributes as well as a first ever support of dual lead vocals.

With standout tracks like “Hallucinations of the Grandest Scale,” and “Nocturnal Riptide,” Skies Burn Black’s listeners have described their music comparable to entering a temple, while others have felt as if they were on a voyage deep into musical expression. Either way, listening to SBB is considered an experience to some. Unique strength lays in their transitions which are developed in such a way where you feel like you’re relentlessly being pushed forward.
