Biography

...7of9 was founded in early 2000 in Ludwigsburg, south Germany. The sound of the band is pretty hard stuff but doesen't fit to most regular metal styles. Since then several shows were played at known places all over germany like Berlin (K17 Club), Leipzig (Moritzbastei), Stuttgart (Röhre Club, LKA Longhorn Club), Rockxplosion Open Air and many more together with bands like ELIS, ATROCITY, END OF GREEN, LUNA FIELD, DOOMSHINE, BLOODFLOWERZ, UMBRA ET IMAGO, EMIL BULLS and more... The debut album "liquid universe" was released in 2003 by Generation Records/BMG/AL!VE...

...2004 7of9 split with Generation Records and up to date they're still unsigned. But new recordings for the second untiteled album will be follow february 2006...

...experiences of the press describing the bands' sound last from "extreme" FARMER BOYS to great acts like FEAR FACTORY or SEPULTURA... but even those comparisons really couldn't hit the musicial style... for the "liquid universe" longplayer keybords and samples were used but not in the coming album... the 2nd strike will sound much heavier and more technical in cause of engraving line-up changes in 2004. Today the band plays in a classical metal filling with 2 guitars, bass, drums and vocals... the sound of the band is still groovy cheetin' with heavy guitars and intuitiv hooklines...
