Rob Rock

Biography

In 2002, Vocalist Rob Rock put together this great Florida band to tour behind the release of his debut solo album Rage of Creation. That band now calls itself “Rage of Creation” and consists of Rob Rock (vocals), Rick Renstrom (guitar), Bob Rossi (guitar), Stephen Elder (bass guitar), and Tracy Shell (drums).

Rob Rock's Rage of Creation band was nominated for “Best Metal Act - 2001” by the People's Music Awards, Florida and the Orlando Metal Awards, Florida.

The following year “Rob Rock” himself was voted “Best Metal Vocalist –2002” by the Orlando Metal Awards. This intense “melodic power metal” band features a cast of extremely talented and popular central Florida musicians. Among them are 2 of Orlando's highest praised guitar shredders; Rick Renstrom and Bob Rossi. Together they create a dual guitar fury unmatched in today's hard rock scene.

Rick Renstrom consistently tops the mp3 charts for metal instrumentalists, and has formerly toured throughout the state with “Wicked Ways”, which was voted 1998's best Florida metal act by JAM Magazine. Rick also won “Best Guitarist” in the 2001 Orlando Metal Awards.

Fret burner Bob Rossi shares the spotlight with Rick and the chemistry between them is witnessed in their spectacular live performances and harmony guitar theatrics.

These two world class guitarists lay a massive metal foundation upon the thunderous and tight rhythm section of Stephen Elder on bass, also formerly with “Wicked Ways” and Tracy Shell on drums, formerly with the group “Gemini”. Together they create a monstrous sound that drives the band into a most impressive frenzy of excellence.
