Biography

Restrain was born on the year 2000, with the initial line-up which consists of Fadhzel, Fadly, Khairulhuda, Khairul and Hidayat. We played mostly metal and hardcore at that time, covers from bands like Earthcrisis, Soulfly, Slipknot etc. Slowly as time passed, we started playing mostly our own originals. We had 9 songs originally composed by the vocalist, Fadhzel. We are currently listening to bands like Caliban, As I Lay Dying, Converge and other metalcore bands. Then, two of our members had to leave the band because of personal issues. After that, Karman and Farhan as our bassist and guitarist respectively, joined Restrain. They are our friends who love metal music and old school rock. We played gigs held at community centres and other areas. Restrain also produced their 1st demo with The Falling Grudge from KL. We produced 3 songs for the demo. Now, we hope that Restrain will be recognised by record companies.
