Out For Blood
by METALSITES.net @ August 4th, 2005Biography
Formed in Coventry in 2003, Out For Blood burst onto the local metal scene of the Midlands, quickly gaining a strong reputation for their uncompromising live show.
Out For Blood recorded their first demo ‘Assault & Battery’ at Sable Rose Studios, Coventry with legendary producer Andy Faulkner whose previous work includes Cathedral & Bolt Thrower. ‘Assault & Battery’ was well received by the press & webzines, it received radio airplay on underground station 4QRadio.com
Following the recording of ‘Assault & Battery’ Out For Blood continued to leave their mark on the local metal scene by supporting the likes of Stampin’ Ground, Mistress, Narcosis, No Turning Back & Godsize to name a few.
Through playing countless local shows across the midlands Out For Blood soon attracted the attention of the new British label Meltdown Records.
In late 2004 Out For Blood re-entered the studio to record three tracks for a split release with US Metal band Organ titled ‘Pulse Of Underground’ for Meltdown Records. The end product is devastatingly brutal combining both elements of hardcore punk, doom & sludge.
In support of the release of ‘Pulse Of The Underground’ Out For Blood went out on a self-financed, self organized UK Tour with Organ (US) & Godsize in March 2005. The tour, sponsored by 4QRadio & Jagermeister, was a great success & Out For Blood will be heading back out on the road in the very near future with the same killer bill.
With their hardworking, no-bullshit philosophy, Out For Blood are set to establish themselves as one of the finest underground metal bands to come out of the midlands.
