Orth
by METALSITES.net @ May 9th, 2009Biography
Orth has been established in Berlin in 1989. The band is with no doubt one of the first Deathmetal Bands in Germany. Now, after 20 years of existence, the standing for a diverse, varied and also headstrong mix of Deathmetal, Grindcore, Trashmetal with strong groove hardcore influence.
The band surprised since the beginning with a brutal mixture of technical structures, explosive aggression, merciless breaks and partly german texts, the german metal scene and composed new impulses. Orth improved their style constantly. The members are working on their new album "godmode" in the moment, which will be published in 2009. Orth is clearly taking an attitude to the problems in our society, without loosing the humor and the fun of playing! Brutal and honest that..s Orth! Highly motivated and ready to introduce the new album, are all the members of Orth: Founder member singer and guitarist, Greek origin, Hannes. With his brutal singing (without using effects), an open charisma and his presence on stage - he is a distinctive character and the good soul of the band for years. Brian, with polish, German and French blood in his veins, is the guitarist. He brings a lot of experience into the band. Also he is a very good and long friend, so it is impossible to imagine Orth without him. A real lucky choice is our new drummer (2009), Tyronne Silva, born in Sri Lanka and living in Berlin. Because of his perfect technical drumming, we found a very talented, professional and humanly drummer. He will push the band and the music in the future. He is also filling a hole, which was distracting us since a while and holding us back. Fux is our Bass player, but temporarily only. It's a pitty, but we hope to find a good man so, who can take his part over. We are getting prepared for our concerts, which are coming up soon, so we can bring our audiances to rock with us and show stage presence in germany and other coutries. Orth is going to burn down all borders with their new label and going to send it out with full power in Europe to improve new metal fans.
