Biography

The Mansion Of Soul Drain was established in 2002, Finspong, Sweden by Marco Baas and Jeanne André. The band has released two demos, Anthems of Sorrow (2002), Independent (2003) and two full lengths CD, Neon God (2003) and In Memoriam (2005). The latest album, “In Memoriam”, was released and distributed by Statue Records LTD (December 2005).

The album, In Memoriam, was recorded at home and mastered at Endarker Studio.
The music style is a mixture between Goth and Doom metal with influences from modern metal. The music is characterized by low-tuned guitars, choirs and duets between male and female vocals.

In 2006 the band is heading for live performances and a new record. The band has now three new members; Johan Kemi (Synth), Jesper Karlsson (bass guitar), Mikael Karlsson (drums) which make live performances possible. We are looking for clubs, festivals etc, or anyone who like to book us for a live concert. With new members we are looking forward to the new sound for the next album. In the future, the Mansion will continue making music videos and hopefully there will be some bonus videos on the next album.
