Biography

Djinn thrash metal band was originally formed in Croatia in 1983 as Evil Blood. The band has gone through line-up changes, new names and relocations, ending up as Djinn, based in Ladybank, Fife. The band are founder member Dennis Harris who is also the song-writer and lead vocals. Also, Paul Edgar and Sean Medeiros.

Over the years the band have issued numerous albums, been on Croatian TV, embarked on tours around Europe and received rave reviews in both British and European heavy metal magazines

“Their style owes much to Venom and Slayer” (Malcolm Dome, ‘Kerrang’). Yet there is something positively brutal and feral about this band that transcends all influences and makes them a band who make quite an individual impact. It is hard to believe that this is only a trio from the awesome sound they create, as well as the skill of the members.
