Biography

The person responsible for the majority of the compositions is Northbert vel „Konik”.

The first official demo „Hymn To The Fate” was commercially released in ’97 by Millenium Records (Warsaw) and contained 8 tracks of pure Thrash/Death Metal.

After several line-up changes, in 2001 Diachronia recorded it’s first full length album „XX Decline” 9 tracks inspired by Black and Death metal influences, produced and commercially released by the Canadian Great White North record label.

By this point Diachronia had finally crystallized their own unique musical style, which they follow with unbreakable determination.

The latest achievement of Diachronia is the self-produced album "Absolute time", which is the most mature production in terms of the musical experience, in which brutal noises and melodic lines are forged together into a Death-Black-Symphonic Metal excellence of sound.

In 2006 the band's founder Northbert "Konik" decided to move to London,where he formed an entirely new lineup with Kaz (bass), Danny (keyboards) and Matt (vocals). This lineup allows Diachronia to revisit old compositions anew, imparting a fresh creativity - also helping to speed up the writing of the new album, which should be completed by summer '08. After nearly 2 years since Diachronia's last live performance, the band started gigging again....
