Biography

The Gothenburg sound.
That is what people usually call it.
Ok sure.
But Deliverance goes beyond that and takes it to another level. They mix music like In Flames with the sound of HIM and riffs similiar to those of Iron Maiden.
And clean vocals.
It just fits right in, right?

The first promo became a hit wherever it went.
The reviews were great.

Now there will soon be a second.

Deliverance (Sweden, Gothenburg) was formed sometimes during the year of 2003 from the remains of the bands "Memorial" and "Eureka!" Oskar and Kricka talked about forming a band together. So Oskar called Joseph, the drummer from "Memorial" and he grabbed his drumsticks and joined the others! They soon noticed that they needed another guitar in the band , and so Kenny was hired.
This worked out great and the first gig in Angered was a fact within a few weeks, however they only played covers on that occassion.

Getting tired of playing covers Deliverance started to write their own material and it turned out as some sort of hard rock with catchy refrains. Nadja was hired to play the keyboards and sing backing vocals, and everything were going great.

But it didn´t work out as good as Deliverance hoped for, and some lost motivation. Joseph left the band to put all his effort in his other band (Deus Ex machina). Kenny and Nadja also left the band and things weren´t looking good at all.

But Kricka and Oskar decided to keep on playing... Strenghtened by the defeat new songs were born, and this material was heavier more powerful than before... The guitar hero Ove was hired and brought new inspiration and energy to the group , after that the inspiration flowed as newer before!
Suddenly Deliverance had arised from the ashes.

Kenny joined the band again, but this time as a bass player and it became a success. Much material was written and four of these songs were chosen and recorded in November - February 04-05.

Today Deliverance is stronger than ever, and with catchy and powerful riffs we will land on you and never let go!
