Deep South Union

Biography

Deep South Union was formed in February of 2008. The band consist basically of four dudes with a wide range of musical influences from the likes of Pantera, Black Label Society, Dope, Alice and Chains, Soundgarden, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and way too many more to mention here. Although the band is newly formed, this is a group that has been years in the making. All these guys played in various bands and cities across the United States for over 2 decades before eventually landing a position in this power quartette.

Members listed individually are “The Reverend” JD lead vocalist. Mahlon Matal, 6 string guitar, 7 string guitar, and backing vocals. John Normon, drums, backing vocals. And Zack Miles, 4 string, 5 string bass.

Deep South Union is a hard driving metal act, that has no doubt taken the south by storm. The Dallas based metal musicians are hard working mother fuckers with plans to be in studio to record their first cd by late summer 2008. Look for Deep South Union to be blowing the doors off a venue near you.
