Biography

Barbarian Prophecies was found in the ending of 2000 cause of the fusion of Barbarianth (Death Metal) and Venomous Prophecies (Black Metal), two local bands from Lugo (Spain).

The original line-up was Óscar (guitars), Claudio (guitars), Adrian (bass), Dani (drums) and Touto (vocals). The first demo was released in 2002 and named "Conquerors of the Wolfthorne" and edited in CD-R format as a limited copy edition. Tow years after the band recorded "War Is Imminent" with a professional CD format and artwork, with seven new tracks, a remastered track from the previous demo and a live cover bonustrack: Machiavellian (Kataklysm).

From that point to present the band has change its line-up, being the actual: Óscar (guitar and vocals), Carlos (guitar), Manuel (bass) and Julio (drums). Now there is a promo CD-R named "WAR Promo 2007" with three tracks from their upcoming third studio recording named "Condemned Land, The War Begins".
