ArCease

Biography

ArCease is a band formed of 6 close friends Alain, Naj, Sam, Eliana, Stefler and Rony who gathered themselves and started jamming in midsummer 2004.

After several jamming sessions, many complications and confusions among band members resulted in the loss of Rony (drummer) However the band continued practicing with the Lead, Rhythms and Bassist mainly accompanied by Eliana from time to time although Alain rarely participated. ArCease struggled for about four months, when it had to lose the company of this last member for only a short while, where he had to serve the military service.

Practicing once a week, under very bad conditions and using a pc generated drum beat, a stereo (since the lead didn't have an amp). Let's just say the circumstances were not helpful at all.

But still the band continued its slow progress till one day a rising drummer Charo called and met the band after reading an announcement posted by the band earlier for finding a talented drummer to fufill the position required.

So the journey began with different mentalities and team members helped each others , through practices and demos. At this stage the bond between the members became stronger and unseparable, this created self confidence among them resulting to a decision of having live contact with the Lebanese metal fans to get a feedback on the band's achievements. The results of the Big Daddy Gig (which took place on the 11 of March 2005 in Jounieh) came beyond the band's expectations.

Besides the good results and the positive feedbacks, the band faced complications with the Rhythm Guitarist (Sam) and this led to his eventual withdrawing from the band. To fill the gap that was created the band relied on Jad, a rythm guitarist joined the band...

It didn't take a while for jad to leave the band for personal reasons this time which put the members in a nerve-wrecking situation everytime they had to pick out a rythm guitarist for a steady position... At that time, sessionests ( Ali , Gabi...) were practicing with the band to keep focus and grow determination into the band's goal to reach the public.

After the recording of the Demo album "A Chora For My Tearful Angel", ArCease needed a fix rythm guitarist so they decided to pick up their old friend Elie Skaff (Skapy) to fulfill officially that position. After the release of "A Chora for my tearful angel" Eliana (Keyboardist) decided to leave the band so she can be able to focus on her other life duties what gave a chance to a talented young man called Elian Daoud to practice with the band and be decided finaly as their Keyboardist.

The Summer of 2008 brought some changes to the band's lineup where Elie Skaff (Rhythm guitarist) was dismembered and replaced by Gabi Kirakossian a young Talented 14 years old guitarist who performed earlier as a guest member with the band, and since ArCease has been working on the production of their second album, where almost done with the recording of the new single to be released soon " The Funeral Of 1984" Like so, ArCease will proceed with their new member by making more (Doom / Death) originals hoping to grasp more fans and win their satisfaction...
