Biography

Aeternam's music is described as Oriental Melodic Death Metal.

The band came from the imagination of Antoine Guertin and Alexandre Caron-Loignon. The two were writing some music just for fun, under the name of Inferno. They had played music together before in some bands, none of them were really serious. Inferno recorded a demo tape during October of 2006, with a few guests musicians, but still, no real members could be found. When they met Ashraf Loudiy, Antoine asked his friend Rémi Duval to join on bass and they all agreed that AETERNAM would be their new name. Right after this change, Samuel Dubois joined the four guys as a keyboard player.
